You can charge while on the go using the FordPass app and the BlueOVal Charge Network to plan out your route and see upcoming charging stations. You can even pay ahead of time for your charge, making this option all the more convenient for those on the go.

Or, you can charge your new electric vehicle at home. Ford has several options for charging, such as the Ford Mobile Charger, the Ford Connected Charge Station, or the Charge Station Pro.

All the Right Tech

Ford hasn’t been light handed with including lots of tech in their latest models of electric vehicles. With a new Ford EV, you get standard technologies found in non-electric vehicles, plus a few bonuses specific to the electric lineups.

Ford BlueCruise makes an appearance in the latest EVs, allowing for brief hands free driving while on long, boring stretches of road, taking some of the stress and strain of long distance driving away. BlueCruise will do the driving for you, maintaining a safe distance from surrounding vehicles.

FordPass offers a Power My Trip network feature; the network takes the guesswork out of monitoring your current charge levels and worrying about if you’ll have enough charge to make it to the next station. The Power My Trip network will even forecast ahead of your route, offering suggestions to charging stations on or close to your route, making recharging on the go a breeze. In the event that you do happen to run out of charge, Ford’s EV Roadside Assistance program is there for you, offering assistance to the nearest charging station.
