The Escape Plug-In Hybrid

A plug-in hybrid, much like a standard hybrid, uses both a gas-powered engine and an electric motor, but as the name suggests, it’s plugged in to charge, similar to a fully electric vehicle. The 2024 Escape Plug-In Hybrid achieves a total system horsepower of 210 and can even tow up to 1,500 lbs!

The 2024 Escape Plug-In Hybrid uses a Level 1/Level 2 AC charging port. This means that with a standard 110V outlet, like the kind that are in your home, you can fully charge your battery overnight, and with the use of an optional 240V outlet, you can charge your vehicle in just a few hours. The battery in the plug-in hybrid is also cleverly positioned to create as much room as possible in the passenger compartment.
